Embark on a private, guided tour of the world-famous San Diego Zoo! This 90-minute, private bus tour narrated by a zoo expert takes you around the park as you hear fun facts and tidbits about the different animals. Peek behind the scenes at one animal exhibit and then spend some free time checking out the world famous giant pandas that are back on loan at the zoo or revisiting your favorite animal! This tour includes entry to the park, a private bus tour of the zoo, and roundtrip transportation from the hotel.
Gemological Institute of America Tour (Thursday, April 16) - $0 per person - donations to the institute greatly appreciated.
Established in 1931, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. A public benefit, nonprofit institute, GIA is the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry. On this private tour, you will explore GIA’s fascinating gem and jewelry museum displays, learn about gem history, mining, and lore, visit the world's most extensive gemological library, and experience GIA's vibrant ocean-view campus.
Please note: Transportation is not included in this activity. You will be responsible for meeting your group captain at the institute 5 minutes before your tour start time. It is located only 10 minutes from the hotel.
